StatePride Initiative

A new endeavor known as StatePride will assist Mississippi State University as it raises funds for two core areas – students and faculty. Gifts and pledges for StatePride will provide a steady stream of annual support for Mississippi State as it seeks to grow over time and combat lean years of state support.

The initiative will allow the university to award need-based scholarships for deserving students and academic scholarships to compete for the best and brightest students. It also will include support to recruit and retain high-caliber faculty members and increase faculty research and development opportunities in all areas of study. In all, $100 million is needed to fulfill these goals.
